      Warranty

The product you have purchased from FTI Converters LLC (“FTI”) is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the period set forth in the schedule below. This Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and begins the date of retail purchase. No other warranties, expressed or implied, apply to this purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part only; the warranty specifically excludes labor or consequential damages or injury. The decision as to whether the defective part will be repaired or replaced rests solely with FTI.
 
This warranty is void if the product is or was improperly installed, abused in any manner, or used for racing, experimental or commercial purposes. Road or accident damage is not covered. In the case of a manual transmission, the Owner must supply bell housing run out specs taken at the time of installation and the type of fluid used in the product. FTI has the sole discretion to determine if the warranty is to be voided by the above factors after inspection of the product.
 
To make a claim under this warranty, first call the FTI Customer Service department to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Mark the outside of the package with the RMA number you were given, and return the defective part, shipping or postage prepaid, to:

Please include a copy of the original purchase invoice, a copy of this warranty, and a note describing the circumstances of the failure or malfunction.
 
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America. Any dispute regarding the coverage of this warranty, its application or terms is subject to arbitration in the State of Florida.

  • Economy Street Series Converters: 90 Days
  • Street Racer Non-Lock-Up Billet Converters: 1 Year
  • Street Racer Lock-Up Billet Converers: 3 Years
  • Race Converters: 1 Year
  • Transmissions Parts: varies by item, see item details for more info
  • Automatic Transmissions: 90 Days

What is NOT covered?

  • Normal Wear and tear
  • Accident/Collision damage
  • Removal/Replacement labor costs
  • Return shipping costs
  • Damage to related components
  • Products used in racing, experimental or commercial applications
  • Product failure due to improper installation or maintenance, failure to provide adequate cooling, use of improper fluid or failure to maintain proper fluid level, modifications, misuse or abuse.
  • Any fees or costs incurred by failure (tow truck, vehicle storage fees, lodging, etc.)
  • Third party repairs without prior approval from FTI Performance.
  • Consequential damages 

Exceptions:

  • Used parts are not covered by warranty
  • Special order parts are covered by the manufactures warranty only

The original purchaser must prepay shipping charges for the return of any defective parts. Warranty of transmissions is limited to replacement of all friction material, seals and gaskets. Additional charges will be made for damaged parts due to improper installation, misuse or abuse, improper fluid level or cooling. This FTI warranty is limited to the value of the parts expressed or implied, including the warranty of merchantability and fitness of the product or for any other purpose. No other consequential damages or other charges implied or expressed are allowed.

  • Failure of an FTI product due to improper installation or maintenance.
  • Failure to provide adequate cooling, maintain proper fluid level, misuse, abuse, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Removal or replacement costs, transmission oil or shipping costs.
  • Damage to related components.
  • Cost incurred due to downtime of vehicle.
  • Normal wear and tear.

Under no circumstances will FTI Converters LLC. be held responsible for incidental and consequential damages arising from or in connection with the installation or use of any FTI performance product. The installation of any FTI products in competition or off-road vehicle (or any street driven vehicle operated in an illegal manner) shall indicate an awareness on the part of the customer that he she is modifying said vehicle to compete with and operate it in a potentially hazardous environment, and accepts full responsibility for conse-quential damages and liabilities indemnifying FTI Converters, LLC.

Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges

FTI Performance requires Return Manufacturer Authorization Number (RMA#) on all return and exchanges. Otherwise shipment will be refused or the return process will be delayed.


Your return must be postmarked within 14 days (10 business days) from the date of delivery. No Exceptions.

 

Proof of Purchases from FTI Performance or an Authorized Dealer is required.

You may return any unused or unaltered stocked parts for an exchange or store credit, whichever you prefer. NO CASH REFUNDS. Unaltered means that no restoration, painting, major cleaning, or change of any kind has occurred. Must be postmarked within 14 days of delivery. Custom Orders are non returnable. Returns are subject to a 15% Restocking Fee. All shipping charges are final/non-refundable.

Secure your merchandise in the original packaging and enclose the completed returns form. RMA Number must be noted on correspondence and on outside of package.

  • Affix the provided return address label over the original shipping label on your package.
  • Take this package to your preferred shipping carrier.
  • The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs (both ways) unless the product error was the fault of FTI Performance.
  • We recommend you insure the return and obtain tracking information as we cannot honor a refund or exchange for a lost or damaged return.
  • A credit or exchange will not be issued until FTI Performance reviews the returned merchandise.
  • FTI Performance reserves the right to have 30 business days to review any and all returns, but we typically handle returns within a few business days.
  • Due to the nature of our products, reviewing returns can be a long and involved process. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
